The product and its developer

Ephemeris Lab is professional desktop calculation and charting software developed by Kasra Rahjerdi. It calculates and displays astrological charts and stores your chart library on your computer. It does not provide astrological interpretations or personal readings. Contact hi@ephemerislab.app with product, license or purchase questions.

What your license covers

A purchased license gives one person a non-exclusive right to install and use the purchased major version across their own computers, including in their professional practice. There is no per-chart or per-client charge. Each additional person needs their own license; contact us about group licensing.

You may print, export and share your charts and calculation outputs. You remain responsible for permission to use and share other people’s birth details and notes.

Purchased versions and updates

Your purchased version is perpetual and does not require a subscription or periodic online activation. A valid license works indefinitely on a fully offline computer; no connection or app update is required to keep it valid. You can transfer the installer and license file from another computer. Minor updates within that major version are included. Future major versions may be sold separately; upgrading is optional. Continued use of your purchased version does not guarantee compatibility with future operating systems or permanent availability of optional online services.

Perpetual use is separate from ongoing support and downloads. We provide email support for the current major version and will give at least 12 months’ notice before ending routine support for a superseded major version. Compatible installers will remain available for purchased major versions while we operate the download service. Save your installer, license file and purchase confirmation so you can reinstall without relying on that service. Ending support does not expire a valid license or limit mandatory remedies.

Purchases and delivery

The listed personal license price is $299 USD, paid once. Applicable taxes and the final payable amount are shown before payment. The purchase confirmation identifies the seller, the version and the delivery method. Keep your receipt and license key. Do not send payment-card information by email.

Checkout is being prepared through Stripe Managed Payments. Kasra Rahjerdi, in California, United States, is the software seller and developer. Sold through Link, LLC is the merchant of record for Managed Payments transactions. Link handles payment receipts, transaction support and applicable indirect taxes; we handle the software, license delivery and product support. The Sold through Link purchase terms and Link privacy policy apply to its services. Required seller contact details will be shown before payment.

After payment is confirmed, your key, license file, purchased-version download instructions and a copy of the accepted terms and refund policy are normally emailed within a few minutes. If nothing arrives within an hour, check spam and email hi@ephemerislab.app. We will arrange delivery or an appropriate refund if delivery cannot be completed. Link sends the payment receipt separately. See installation and recovery.

The refund policy covers unresolved technical problems reported within 14 calendar days of purchase. It excludes change-of-mind refunds after digital delivery and preserves statutory rights and refunds required by the payment provider.

Restrictions and ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. Kasra Rahjerdi retains ownership of Ephemeris Lab and its source code. You may not share, resell or publish your license key, distribute the software to others, or use one personal license for multiple people. You may not copy, modify or reverse engineer the software except where applicable law permits it. Third-party components retain their own licenses and notices, which accompany the app.

Refunds and withdrawn licenses

A confirmed full refund of the affected license purchase withdraws that license. Partial goodwill refunds and tax adjustments do not withdraw it. A license may also be withdrawn for a confirmed reversed or fraudulent purchase. Remove a withdrawn license from your computers and stop using its paid features. You retain access to read and export your existing chart data. Being offline does not restore a withdrawn license or expire a valid one. If you believe a withdrawal is mistaken, email hi@ephemerislab.app; after verifying the purchase and correcting the mistake, we will provide a replacement key.

Desktop builds prepared for the commercial release automatically download a public list of withdrawn licenses when connected. Once a copy confirms that its license has been withdrawn, it will stop new calculations and other paid work while keeping your existing charts readable and exportable. A failed check or lack of internet access will not disable a valid license. No successful check or app update is required for continued offline use.

Use and support

Astrological interpretation is your responsibility. Ephemeris Lab is not medical, legal or financial advice. Calculation comparisons describe the tested inputs and methods; they are not a guarantee for every chart or interpretation. Email hi@ephemerislab.app if a supported feature does not work as described. We aim to reply within two business days, excluding weekends and United States federal holidays. The refund policy explains troubleshooting and decision timing.

To the extent permitted by law, the software is supplied without additional warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties, remedies or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Privacy and changes

See the privacy policy for local chart storage, optional connections and purchase information. The terms presented for your purchase apply to that purchase. We will publish and date any later changes; they do not remove mandatory rights or the perpetual right to use a valid purchased version.
